Cameryn Orland joined the Nova Southeastern softball staff as an assistant in August 2026.
Orland begins her coaching career following a standout collegiate playing career at Florida Atlantic University, where she developed a reputation for her versatility, resilience, and leadership both on and off the field.
A native of Orlando, Florida, Orland appeared in more than 80 games during her career at Florida Atlantic and developed into a dependable middle infielder and veteran leader. Across three seasons with the Owls, she hit .234, collecting 46 hits, including 10 extra-base hits. She helped FAU capture back-to-back American Athletic Conference Regular Season Championships and earn appearances in two NCAA Regionals.
After making her collegiate debut in 2022, Orland returned to become FAU's everyday second baseman in 2024, starting 53 games while recording 33 hits, 20 RBI, and 18 runs scored. Throughout her career, she demonstrated remarkable resilience and perseverance, overcoming multiple season-ending injuries to make a lasting impact on the program.
Orland brings firsthand experience competing at the NCAA Division I level and is passionate about player development, skill instruction, and helping student-athletes maximize their potential both on the field and in the classroom. Her perseverance through adversity and commitment to continuous growth provide a strong foundation as she begins her coaching career.
